DURAN DURAN FORCED TO POSTPONE LONDON AND BRIGHTON SHOWS THAT WERE ORIGINALLY SCHEDULED FOR SATURDAY 28TH MAY AND MONDAY 30TH MAY, 2011 RESPECTIVELY

Following the postponement of the first six shows of their ALL YOU NEED IS NOW WORLD TOUR over the last ten days, due to singer Simon Le Bon's vocal problems, the band are being forced to reschedule both their London O2 Arena concert, slated to take place tomorrow, Saturday 28th May, and their Brighton Centre date on Monday May 30, while Le Bon continues his recovery.

In preparation for tomorrow's London show, the band had met today in South London to rehearse, but after a couple of songs it was apparent that Le Bon's vocal range had not been fully restored following the laryngeal problems he has suffered for the past two weeks, and that performing tomorrow at The O2 and on Monday in Brighton could cause further damage and risk the band losing even more dates.

Late this afternoon, Le Bon saw his specialist who feels that rest through the weekend and a continuation of the recommended treatment plan should allow the band to resume their dates on Tuesday of next week.

The band members are devastated with the situation, knowing how many fans have traveled from different parts of the world to see these shows. Ticket holders should keep their tickets which will be valid for the rescheduled dates which will be announced shortly.
