Duran Duran had a spectacular set with almost all of their big hits.
The encore proved to be an even bigger show as lead singer Simon LeBon started having the crowd sing along to various notes. Then he started with the obvious "ma mama ma!"
I thought to myself for a second, "No way..."
And he went straight into Lady Gaga's "Pokerface." I think that shocked the crowd for a second as it was the second big "appearance" by Gaga in the last two days.
Great, great stuff.
The band also dedicated the first song of the encore "A View to a Kill," to James Bond composer John Barry, who died this past year.
Duran Duran recorded the song for the Roger Moore Bond film of the same name.
LeBon even dressed up in a white tuxedo to sing the song, which was backed by an orchestra. The group played a low key version to start, before going right into the rocking version.
To close, they did the classic "Girls on Film" and had keyboardist Nick Rhodes taking photos of the crowd.
Overall, one of my favorite concert moments ever.
