(Press Release) SWAHILI BLONDE is the name of the new musical project from ex-Weave! percussionist, Nicole Turley and ex-Red Hot Chili Peppers' John Frusciante.

Their debut full-length LP/CD/DL, Man Meat will be released this summer on LA's true indie label, MANIMAL.

The album features guest appearances from Duran Duran's bass-man, John Taylor on the tribally stunning "Tigress Ritual". The Like's Alina Meyer and her father (DEVO drummer), Alan Meyer along with M. Quinn of Corridor.

A live version of the band is set to start playing shows in and around LA this Spring 2010.
