A drum lesson with Roger Taylor – only in your dreams, right? Well for one lucky fan, the dream came true.

Chloe (pictured below, with Roger) and her family participated in a charity auction for a terrific cause - Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital in London. Their generous donation netted a pretty terrific surprise for the music fan - a drum lesson from Roger!

Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital is a charity that means a lot to Roger, and as he said “I personally made the donation of a drumming lesson with my very self” because of his strong belief in the cause. The hospital provides world class care to hundreds of children every day. The charity exists to support Great Ormond Street Hospital so that it can remain at the forefront of international pediatric medicine and continue to offer world-class care to thousands of patients every year. The hospital is always fundraising so they can continue to have state-of-the-art equipment, the best medical research available, accommodations for families of ailing children and more.

Chloe thought it was pretty cool to be getting a lesson from an actual rock star – but what was even cooler was that it would take place at the Studio, where the band were working with Producer Mark Ronson!

According to Roger, Chloe was a quick learner, as she picked up the basics in no time. After spending an hour with Chloe, who is a Duran Duran fan (can ya make out that t-shirt she's wearing?), he felt confident that not only had the lesson been a great success, but he could possibly see her back in the studio with her own band some day!
