Eighties icons Duran Duran have announced dates for the North American leg of the world tour in support of their latest, Red Carpet Massacre.

The band will kick off its journey March 26 at Vector Arena in Auckland, New Zealand and will hit all four of Australia's V Festivals (March 29 at Centennial Park in Sydney, March 30 at Avica Resort in Gold Coast, April 5 at Melbourne Showground and April 6 at The Esplanade in Perth), as well as stopping in Indonesia, The Phillipines, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea and Costa Rica.

Duran Duran's 22-date North American run launches April 29 at General Motors Place in Vancouver, B.C., and wraps with a pair of shows May 30-31 at Central Park SummerStage in New York City.

Other stops include WaMu Theater in Seattle (April 30), Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in Los Angeles (May 4), The Joint in Las Vegas (May 9-10), Masonic Temple Theatre in Detroit (May 15), Chastain Park Amphitheatre in Atlanta (May 17), Mann Center for the Performing Arts in Philadelphia (May 22) and Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Md. (May 27).

Members of Duran Duran's fan community will have access to pre-sale tickets and VIP packages through DuranDuranMusic.com beginning March 12.

General ticket sales begin March 15.

The upcoming shows mark Duran Duran's second time in the U.S. supporting Massacre. The band debuted the album by performing it in its entirety during a two-week, sold-out residency at New York City's Ethel Barrymore Theatre last November.

The new tour will be a tailored version of the three-act show, which also included a set featuring the band's greatest hits and a special instrumental electronic set.
