Duran Duran Adds Solo Side Shows
Tickets are on sale February 29 to see Duran Duran play rare sideshows at Sydney Entertainment Center on March 28 and at the Palais Theatre in Melbourne on April 3! These suprise gigs will see the "wild boys" playing tracks from their extenstive catalogue in a brand new show that will officially kick off their global 'Red Carpet Massacre' tour.
With co-headlining V Festival dates already scheduled for Duran Duran's triumphant return to Australia, the four original band members Simon Le Bon (vocals), John Taylor (bass), Roger Taylor (drums) and Nick Rhodes (keyboards) today announced special headlining shows in Sydney and Melbourne, in addition to the previously announced Adelaide show, to officially kick off their Red Carpet Massacre World Tour.
For their return Down Under - their first since 2003's highly successful run - the band have developed a brand new show that will see them performing not only many of their infectious global hits from the past 29 years, such as Rio', 'Girls On Film', 'The Reflex', 'Planet Earth', 'Ordinary World' and 'Save A Prayer', but also songs from their new album, together with a special electro set that showcases different arrangements of some of the classics.
With a two-hour plus show and a magnificent new production, DURAN DURAN are recognized as one of the best live bands in the world today. And as those who have seen them before already know there can be no doubt that they have nothing left to prove and everything to play for.
Don't miss the original "Wild Boys" as they kick off their world tour.
