Duran Duran closed the night with a gold ribbon at big festival in Costa Rica

LA GUÁCIMA, Costa Rica (AFP) - Veteran british pop band Duran Duran closed the night in big spirits sunday night of Festival Imperial 2008, that during 2 days, joined in Costa Rica music talent from US, UK, Argentina, Mexico and Spain.

Near 20000 people sang and danced the hits from the legendary Britsh band, that has been successful during 3 decades, at the Festival that was held at LaGuacima, 30 km north San Jose, an outdoors stage that was a success.

The british act started their set near 11 pm, in a fresh and clear night, with Sunrise that put everybody to dance as they waited for them since 6 hours ago. Other hits played were "Notorious", "Girls on Film", "Ordinary World" or "The Reflex". The organizers at Cervecería Costa Rica considered that near 45000 people attended the 2 day festival.
