Strike Coverage: Duran Duran Relocates to Roseland
Having to unexpectedly cancel their remaining Broadway concerts at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre, the rock pop group Duran Duran has scheduled the remainder of their limited concert engagement to play the Roseland Ballroom.
Fan with tickets to see any one of Duran Duran's last three Broadway shows can now see the band perform at the Roseland Ballroom on Monday November 12 and Tuesday November 13. Press notes state: "All tickets for Monday and Tuesday's shows will be honored on the nights that they were originally issued for. Tickets for Saturday night's show (November 10) will be honored on either Monday or Tuesday. All fans will need to bring their original tickets with them in order to enter the new venue. Fans with tickets held at the Barrymore Theatre box office (which is currently closed due the strike) will need to come with proof of purchase to the Roseland Box Office where duplicate tickets will be available."
The Roseland Ballroom is located at 239 West 52nd Street. Doors open at 8PM for a 9PM performance.
Duran Duran, the Grammy Award-winning British pop group, began their Broadway concert engagement at the Barrymore Theatre on November 1. The band consists of Simon LeBon, Nick Rhodes, John Taylor and Roger Taylor.
