Niki thrilled to meet idol Le Bon

X Factor hopeful Niki Evans was left speechless after bumping into teenage idol Simon Le Bon at a recording studio.

The Over-25s contestant was unable to stop repeating “Wow, wow, wow. It’s absolutely amazing to meet you" when confronted by Le Bon in a corridor.

She was thrilled when the Duran Duran star stopped to wish her the "best of luck with everything".

Niki, who is married with two sons, is one of three remaining acts in the category to reach the show's live finals.

The Xtra Factor airs tonight at 7.45pm on ITV2. The X Factor returns to ITV1 next Saturday.
