Duran Duran Light Up Bang! Festival

A beautiful night set the stage for headliner Duran Duran at the Bang! Music Festival in Miami's Bicentennial Park on Saturday. The veteran rockers kick-started their set with a rousing version of "Hungry Like the Wolf." Singer Simon Le Bon paraded around the stage as the band poured out hit after hit. Songs like "Planet Earth," "The Reflex," "Wild Boys" and "Notorious" had the audience singing along and dancing to every note. Le Bon and founding bandmates John Taylor, Roger Taylor and Nick Rhodes were joined onstage by guitarist Dom Brown, who admirably filled in for the recently ousted Andy Taylor. The group finished with a two-punch encore of "Girls on Film" and "Rio." Earlier, Gnarls Barkley warmed up the crowd with a set highlighted by their mega-hit "Crazy." The all-day Bang! gathering also featured a bevy of other pop groups, Latin rock acts and internationally renowned DJs.
