FIRST LIVE CONCERT DVD WITH FIVE ORIGINAL BAND MEMBERS REUNITED
Special Double Disc Box Set Edition To Be Released Simultaneously
New York, NY--On October 25, Coming Home Studios in Association with SRS Labs is releasing Duran Duran's 'Live In London' through Zoe Vision, a division of Rounder Records. 'Live In London' is the first live DVD to feature all of the original members of Duran Duran reunited (Simon LeBon - vocals, John Taylor - bass, Andy Taylor - guitars, Roger Taylor - drums and Nick Rhodes-keyboards). Filmed during the last two shows from the band's record-breaking 2004 run of sold-out concerts at London's Wembley Arena, the electrifying film is set for simultaneous release in both single and double-disc editions. The DVD features all of the hits from their twenty-five-plus year catalogue, together with live versions of some of the chart-topping singles from their 2004 Epic Records album, 'Astronaut.'
'Duran Duran: Live in London,' captures the original 'Fab Five' during their spectacular seventeen-date, 2004 UK arena tour. Marking the first shows to be recorded since the original line-up of Duran Duran got back together in 2001, this upcoming release demonstrates Duran Duran's on-stage dominance through performances of iconic hits "Girls On Film," "Planet Earth," "Hungry Like The Wolf," "Save A Prayer," "A View To A Kill," "Wild Boys," "Ordinary World," "The Reflex," "Union of the Snake" and "Rio."
Directed by award-winning filmmaker, Lawrence Jordan and shot with fourteen state-of-the-art, high-definition cameras, this concert film conveys the magic, excitement, and pure adrenaline of the band's final two Wembley concerts on April 30 and May 1, 2004. Both packages also include a highly entertaining, behind-the-scenes documentary, rare and candid interview footage, a stunning photo gallery, and commentary by all five of the band members -- talking about the songs and the show.
In additional to all of the features on the one-disc package, the deluxe two-disc set will also include a twelve-page booklet, a ten-track live bonus CD (see track-listing below) featuring the hits, and a version of "I Don't Want Your Love" in 3D (with 3D glasses included).
With audio mixed by Jeremy Wheatley and presented in SRS Labs Circle Surround®, 5.1 DTS, 5.1 Multichannel and stereo, the sound quality of this upcoming DVD will recreate the true concert experience. The Circle Surround mix allows the DVD to be compatible with any audio equipment, providing an unprecedented level of flexibility.
