Famous Faces on Canvas 2005

On the 7th April there will be a celebrity party to open the Exhibition and launch of the Famous Faces on Canvas on-line biding website at Exposure Gallery London.

Exposure have kindly donated gallery space where people are able to view the celebrity canvas before biding for their favourite picture.

Famous Faces SOS website will be open for one month and will go live on the 8th of April, a day after the launch party, although guests at the event will have the opportunity to make the 1st bid. Bidding starts at £50.

Unpublished and memorable photographs have been collected from Celebrities around the world. We have asked Celebrity Icons to give SOS an unpublished photograph or a favourite photograph of themselves. Each photograph will be produced as a fine art Gicl_e Canvas.

So far SOS have received an unpublished or personal photograph from Steve Martin, Greg Rudeski, Matthew McConnaghey, Madonna by Mario Testino, DURAN DURAN, Kate Winslet, Lennox Lewis, the Rolling Stones, Wayne Rooney, Damien Hirst by David Bailey, Simon Cowell and Richard Gere to name but a few. This campaign has received massive support from all over the world, especially in Hollywood. The man behind all the Hollywood support is top Film Producer Ashok Amritraj. Ashok was delighted to become spokesperson for the campaign and has gained support from his film star colleagues and Hollywood friends.

Ashok is Chairman and CEO of Hyde Park Entertainment, Los Angeles and is one of the most successful producers in Hollywood today. Recent box office hits include 'Bringing down the House', starring Steve Martin and Queen Latifah, which was reported to have grossed over $132 million in the USA alone, 'Raising Helen, starring Kate Hudson, Walking Tall starring the Rock and Johnny Knoxville and the soon to be released 'Shopgirl' starring Steve Martin and Clare Danes. Ashok and friends are flaying in from L.A. to attend the launch party. It will be one of the biggest Party in London this year.

SOS Children's Charity
SOS Children's Charity build villages which provide homes, support, education and a chance for a normal and real start in life to orphans all over the world. In the Tsunami disaster area of South East Asia, SOS Children have 48 children's villages and have been supporting the region since 1963.
