No ordinary world for Duran Duran

Tickets for the one and only Duran Duran concert in Belfast this year go on sale this Saturday.

And demand is so huge for the ‘80s pop sensations that tickets are going to sell quicker than pancakes on Shrove Tuesday.

The April 7 Odyssey date for the legends precedes the launch of a brand new album and starts off a world tour that will see Simon Le Bon, Nick Rhodes, Roger, John and Andy Taylor touring together again for the first time in nearly 18 years!

If it’s possible for a band to kickstart their musical career again with just one performance then it looks like Le Bon and co have done just that at the recent Brit Awards.

After picking up an award for Outstanding Achievement from Justin Timberlake, they took to the stage to perform three classics from their back catalogue to the delight of most of the audience.

And it looks likely that the band is suddenly set to become as influential again as they once were during the ‘80s pop scene.

Tickets for the show are priced at £33 and £38 and go on sale this Saturday from the Odyssey Box office, Virgin and usual Ticketmaster outlets.
