First Installment Of Three-Part VH1 Series Featuring Artists And Their

Fans To Premiere With Duran Duran, Tuesday, December 14 AT 11:00 P.M.*

New York, NY, December 10, 2004 - The relationship between artists and their fans has always been a  source of much fascination.  Now, in VH1's new series, entitled  "Baileys The Set," this bond is examined in a unique way - both on-stage and off.

With pop legends Duran Duran and their fans as the subject of the first in this fresh, new three part series, "Baileys The Set" will combine live, in-studio performance footage, with interviews and documentary B roll to highlight the unbreakable connection that a band can have with their fans.

Premiering on Tuesday, December 14 at 11 pm, the first installment of the "Baileys The Set" series sees Duran Duran performing some of their classic worldwide hits as well as music from their new album 'Astronaut' in front of a small studio audience at Sony Stages in Los Angeles.  In stark contrast to the arena and stadium shows that they have been doing over the past year, this one hour special showcases the band in a rare and intimate setting.  Inter-cut with this performance are anecdotal interviews with the band members and some of their most dedicated followers.

With the release of Astronaut, their first studio album back together in 21 years, the five original members of Duran Duran (singer Simon LeBon, keyboardist Nick Rhodes, guitarist Andy Taylor, drummer Roger Taylor and bassist John Taylor) are ready to take on the world once more.  Their Astronaut World Tour will start in January in Japan, head to North America in February for 40+  dates and will then go on to Europe through next summer.   The "Baileys The Set" program will provide a unique opportunity to see them play live before they hit the road.
