DURAN DURAN PHENOMENAL TICKET SALES PROMPT FOURTH WEMBLEY, THIRD BIRMINGHAM NEC SHOW & NEW DATES IN CARDIFF & SHEFFIELD
Pop legends DURAN DURAN have announced a four more dates on their forthcoming UK tour, which kicks off on Sunday April 11th at Nottingham Arena.
The addition of shows in Cardiff, Sheffield, London and Birmingham stems from the phenomenal demand over the holidays during which time the band sold more than 80,000 tickets!
Duran Duran have now added a fourth Wembley Arena show on Friday 30th April, a third Birmingham NEC show on Sunday April 25th and new dates at Cardiff Arena on Wednesday April 28th and Sheffield Arena on Tuesday 27th April.
These highly anticipated concerts which are already being earmarked as one of the music highlights of 2004, will mark the first time that the original band members of SIMON LE BON (vocals), NICK RHODES (keyboards), ROGER TAYLOR (drums), JOHN TAYLOR (bass) and ANDY TAYLOR (guitars) have toured the UK together for more than eighteen years!

The fourteen dates in Nottingham, Manchester, Birmingham, London, Cardiff , Glasgow and Sheffield will launch the bands 2004 World Tour, just prior to the release of their new album. Tickets for the new shows went on sale to members of the Duran Duran fan community (duranduranmusic.com) today (Sunday 11th January 2004) at 09:00am and will be available to the public Monday 12th January 2004 at 09:00am.
