Duran Duran played in Berlin last night to over 3,000 eager fans who came from all over the world to see this one off gig.
Joined by Tessa Niles, the band performed 6 news songs, including "Want You More," "Astronaut" and - of course - "(Reach Up for the) Sunrise."
Though he has had a virus for over a week, Andy ignored Doctor's orders and played the gig so as not to disappoint the many who came to see the show. Unfortunately, he needed to take this morning off to rest. Andy was unable to be at the Birmingham In Store, which was by all accounts a huge success, with over 500 fans getting in to meet Duran Duran in the two hours they were there.
Andy is so sorry he was unable to be at the Birmingham In Store but having rested all day, WILL be at the London In Store this evening.
On the way out of Birmingham, Simon, Nick, John and Roger stopped in Cheapside, where Duran Duran first got together, to do some filming with Gavin Elder for their upcoming Documentary.
