Duran Duran were taken by surprise when they were presented with the MTV LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD at the 20th Anniversary of the MTV Awards.

The band had no idea they were to win this honour and were completely thrilled. Presented by Kelly Osbourne and Avril Lavigne, the band won the Award for their success and innovation in video.

The band were the TOAST of the Awards, and were interviewed after the Presentation by many media outlets including Associated Press, CNN, Good Morning America, Access Hollywood, Exra, Entertainment Weekly, MTV News and many others.
