DURAN DURAN - THE TOUR BEGINS. Kicking off this Saturday is one of this year's (and this decade's) most anticipated reunion tours - Duran Duran.

After eighteen years of being apart, this will be the first time the reunited band -- Simon Le Bon, Nick Rhodes, John Taylor, Andy Taylor and Roger Taylor - will tour the U-S in their original line-up.  When we last caught up with them, John and Nick commented that of all the evolutions this
band has gone though, the first version is still the best.

"(John) It's been great, and we fit man, we fit. We just have been in a lot of line-ups of Duran Duran we have all played with different musicians. But, this is the chemistry, this is the real one."

"(Nick) Yeah, it's...as John said the between us all we make on really great person and if one's not there we kind of really miss that personality."

Duran Duran's '78-'03 Tour will be kicking off in Atlantic City at the Borgata Hotel And Casino. Tonight, they'll have a pre-tour warm up at New York's China Club and hosted
by New York station WPLJ.
