DURAN DURAN: CHICAGO DEMANDS 3RD SHOW

Overwhelming response from Duran Duran fans in Chicago has prompted the band to add a third Windy City date - November 19th at the House of Blues - to their 78-03 25th anniversary tour. All of the tickets for the two dates initially announced (November 17th and 18th) were snapped up two minutes after going on sale October 18th.

Also on October 18th, tour dates in Philadelphia and Toronto sold out in less than 10 minutes, and shows in six other cities sold out in less than half an hour. Overall, every ticket for twelve of the sixteen dates placed on sale that day was sold by lunchtime.

Fans' incredible support for the tour, which features all five original members of Duran Duran, marks a new high in an already stellar silver anniversary year. After announcing the reunion of their original members, the band received a Lifetime Achievement Award at the MTV Video Music
Awards, and played their first UK show together in eighteen years. That concert, which sold out in four minutes, was the fastest-selling British gig this year, and the hottest ticket in London.

Club shows in LA and New York met with equally fervent response, inspiring the 78-03 tour. A new album and amphitheater tour are in the works for
2004.

Tickets for the November 19th Chicago date go on sale thru Ticketmaster at 10AM local time, Saturday, November 1st. If you are a member of the Duran Duran Fan Community, please go to DuranDuranMusic.com for members pre-sale and VIP package information
