Simon, Yasmin and Nick went to the David Bowie show the other night. It was an interesting outting, since it was at Festival Hall and was part of an Art Exhibit. The Dandy Warhols played about 3 songs and then Bowie took the stage. He played all of his new album and some older songs for encores. Afterwards, they went backstage and congratulated David on a terrific show.
This weekend Simon is going sailing on the Maiden II. This boat will be used for the All Female Challenge Around the World Yacht Race at a later date. The boat is a Catamaran and Simonis very much looking forward to it!
According to Nick, the new Duran Duran album is about 2 lyrics away from completion! JT wants to recommend the film "24 Hour Party People," which focuses on the Manchester Music Scene. He really loved the film and recommends it to anyone who is in to music. In other JT news, he had the pleasure of seeing Nile Rogers and Chic perform at theHollywood Bowl as part of a disco party celebrating the 25th Anniversary of 'Saturday Night Fever'. John was both stunned and relieved with Chic's performance. He had a fantastic time and encourages you to check out Nile and the band live if you ever get a chance.
