Though he was paraphrasing somewhat, Simon tried to remember the speech he made at the last show he and Nick played with Warren in Japan on June 22nd.

"We have had 15 years of ups and downs and lots of great music together. Everything runs its course, and the time had come for all of us to move on to other things. It is still sad though to see Warren go, and I think he is an amazing musician and brought so much musicianship to this band. Playing "Ordinary World" is a symbol of just what we could accomplish together."

And then, of course, they played "Ordinary World."
