FOURTH EDITION OF THE CARTIER “TRAVEL WITH STYLE” CONCOURS D’ELEGANCE JAIPUR POLO GROUNDS, NEW DELHI, 14TH MARCH 2015

The fourth edition of the International biennial Concours d’Elegance Cartier “Travel With Style”- one of the four best in the world - will be hosted in New Delhi on the 14th of March 2015 at the Jaipur Polo Grounds. This edition will feature classic automobiles, motorcycles and new ‘Picolo Fiat Class’ – celebrating the Italian company’s famous small cars, along with ‘Veteran Class’- for motorcycles from the dawn of motoring to 1930.

Cartier “Travel With Style” celebrates the remarkable design and craftsmanship which went into creating the most luxurious and distinctive of cars. A panel of hand-chosen international classic car cognoscenti from across the globe judges the cars in different classifications. Owned by Indian royalty and private collectors, the most rare and historically significant automobiles are on display in public for the first time ever, bringing alive the eccentricities and uniqueness of the Indian automobile industry which are handpicked by Cartier and Curator Manvendra Singh of Barwani, who is deeply committed to Cartier’s vision of showcasing the golden age of Indian automobiles.

Setting the standard with their appreciation of fine form, exquisite style and exceptional design, the judging panel draws on the experience of some of the world’s leading designers, most successful industrialists, best known arbiters of taste, and most knowledgeable collectors of classic cars.

Chief Judge for Cartier “Travel With Style” Concours d’Elegance 2015, New Delhi India, HRH Prince Michael of Kent (KCVO & GCVO) will be accompanied by Sandra Button, the Chairman of Pebble Beach Concours, the most influential woman in the classic car world; Jean Todt, president of FIA (Federation Internationale de l'Automobile); Italian former Formula One racing driver Riccardo Patrese; classic car collectors Sir Michael Kadoorie and Nigel Matthews; poet and classic car restorer David McKirdy; supermodel Yasmin Le Bon with her husband, the much acclaimed English musician Simon Le Bon and many more.
